I had some business in Yakima and E'burg so decided to head down through the canyon on the way back to the Tri-cities. If you have checked the flows lately you'll know that they are headed up. Almost 1900 cfs now and rising, running off color (about a foot of visibility below Wilson Creek now). The wind was blowing about 15-20 mphs. Let's hope that this moves quickly and the river starts dropping and clearing up before the weekend.

Didn't even bother stringing up a rod. If there were any bugs in the air they were blowing by quickly.

On a different note, the Yakima River Fly Fishers now have 62 members and growing. If you haven't joined yet and are interested, head over to yrff.org. You can down load a membership app there.
