Yakima River Basin Issues, Organizations, and Projects

The purpose of this thread is to post information and comments about conservation issues, organizations, and projects that are taking place in the Yakima River basin, from the headwaters to the confluence with the Columbia River near Tri-Cities, including all tributaries.

"my" stretch of the yakima mainly has a bunch of issues... and not a lot of resident native fish.

Some very beautiful water once in the reservation, braided and gravel bars for miles, until the next dam.

Know the ecology dept and epa do some stuff down here, but outside of the "friends of toppenish creek" i know of no other grassroots style organizations on the lower river
