Bauer Reel Maintenance

I love Bauer reels. How often do you lube up the cork on the inside? I have one that is dry and the corners on the cork are starting to lift on it. The drag still is strong as ever though.

Are you supposed to just rub the reelx into the cork and keep it moist?
