Hey guys! I did some "searching" on this subject but still didn't really find a good answer. I am looking at the Dan Bailey's. Time for a new pair of waders. Looking for fairly inexpensive but not too cheap... $125-$250. Problem is I'm 6'5" 190 (fairly slender) and my shoe size is 15 (yes a size 15). How do I go about getting a good pair of waders? I want to avoid the customization (but that might be unavoidable) and I want to avoid the "baggy" but large foot size. It's a tough one being 6'5" 190, 15. I've tried on too many waders which hang off me as my chest on down is not wide. My waist is a size 32/33. All input appreciated.
Regards --
Dan

Feel for you man. I'm 6' 6" 230 with a 40"inseam. Thank god only a size 12 shoe.
I have been looking for tall sizes that are for tall people for years. I hate short people!!!
Hit my head on a freaking doorjamb today.
Try doing a search on big feet. There is someone else on this board with "Das Boats"
Good luck. Jeff

I wear a size 15 and my Dan baileys guide waders fit me wonderfully..... However, I will say this... IM 6'4 but 300+ pounds and a 42 inch waist.... SO basically im petite! If you call baileys they will put bigger booties in any pair of waders.... Simms wanted 75 bucks more for them.... baileys was free.

I'm just shy of 6"8" and about 250 lbs. I have the Dan Bailey XLT lightweights and wish they had a bit more room everywhere but the feet. You might try them out. I don't think the body dimensions are as big as they advertise. It's a heck of a wader for $200.00.

Sounds like you've got yourself 'sorted out,' and (not having any of your problems) I couldn't recommend a set of waders more highly than Bailey's products. My first set lasted 7 seasons of HARD fishing.

Only thing I found I had to do was put an extra layer over the leg inseams (with 'tent repair' tape) due to chafing.

My son is 6 ft 8 in . He is only 16 yrs old so ya know he is not shall we say thick. His other problem is size 17-18 shoes. Did any of you find a solution to this problem? Are only short petite footed people allowed to fly fish? He has been fishing every summer on the Rio Grand since he was 8 years old. I found boot legged waders @ sportsmans guide wedsite in size 15 that was 2 years ago and he had to squinch up his foot last year using those not gonna work this year! please help!!!!!!

I am glad that their are more tall freaky people fly fishing. I fall in to this category too at 6'7'' 220lb and finding waders can be a bitch. check out orvis waders they added extra long size to the pro-guide wader I called an orvis store and they did not seem to know about this size option so check the orvis site first
